Halo3.com has updated to explain the three ways in which you can enlist for the Halo 3 beta. They also note that if you signed up for the beta after seeing the Halo 3 commercial last month, you can expect to hear between January 22nd to 26th.

I woke up this morning not knowing what to expect about the availability for the Wii.  So I decide to call my girl to see how see made out. I turned to get my phone only to found that she had called me 5 times this morning.  She was in desperate need of a coat to keep her warmer.  So I made it down there at around 9:16 am, rooted the line and waited for a voucher. 

And to think that I waited in line just for my six year old sister.  This was supposed to be her Christmas gift.  Now I have a dilemma should I open to play it before I take it down to Georgia to give it to her.

Sources close to Sony have all but confirmed that the various launch prices for the PS3 in Europe will be as follows:

Ireland - €629 (60GB)
Europe - €499 (20GB) / €599 (60GB)
UK - £425 (60GB)

So, why the difference in prices?

Ireland is an extra €20 compared to Europe due to their VAT rates being higher, at 21%. We weren’t given any real reason to why the UK price is £30 more than that of Europe …erm, other than the cost of living is greater in the UK!

Also, you may have heard that Sir Howard Stringer, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sony Corporation, was quoted as saying the launch was going to be in April. We can confirm that this was a mistake and that everything is still being lined up for the March 23 launch date!
